| Lebanon/Grenada | August 24, 1982 - July 31, 1984 |
| Panama (Just Cause) | December 20, 1989 - January 31, 1990 |
| Persian Gulf | August 2, 1990 - Until Closed by Congress |
U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only:
from Dec. 7, 1941 to Aug. 16, 1945

Few specific suffixes:
